Alice “Nita” Juanita House, 93, of Louisville, passed away, Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at her residence. She was born December 5, 1916 to the late Roscoe and Maude Viers Nall. She was a Realtor with Parks and Weisberg Realtors, a member of Southeast Christian Church, the Prime Time Bible Study Class, a member of the Greater Louisville Board of Realtors, former president of the Woman’s Club and a founding member of the Woodhaven Country Club.
She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Ernest House; a son Jerry L. (Dorothy) House; a daughter Judith (Bill) Cobb; a brother, Jack (Kate) Nall; seven grandchildren, Kevin S. (Lisa) House, Vonda (Bruce) Jennings, Robin Shacklett, Bruce W. Cobb, Chris L. (Betsy) Cobb, Melissa Cobb, Holly (Rex) Nealis; six great-grandchildren, Griffin Cobb, Ian Cobb, Brett Jennings, Heather Jennings, Rebecca House, Amanda Grubbs and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Nita’s life will be conducted at noon on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with private burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. till time of service on Saturday April 10, 2010 at the funeral home.
