Alice Mae Bohannon, 86, of Louisville, entered her heavenly home on March 27, 2019 while lovingly surrounded by her family. Alice was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, homemaker, outstanding cook and baker, talented seamstress, meticulous housekeeper, bingo enthusiast and most importantly a precious child of God. She loved, and was loved by many. She was retired from H&R Block. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, George Bohannon; daughter, Cindra Bohannon; brothers, John, Sam, and George Huber; and her sisters, Doris Mivelaz and Pat Tetrick. Left behind to remember all the cherished memories include her daughters, Connie Levy (Marc), Pam Bennett (Gary), Rhonda Amburgy (Jody), and Genie Thompson; Jim, who she lovingly referred to as her adopted son; grandchildren, Alicia Girling (Mark), Jason Jamison, Tyler Amburgy (Heather), Chad Bennett, Carline Trautman (Seth), Bradley Bennett, Kyle Thompson (Andrea), Travis Amburgy, Dillon Thompson (Ashley); and 3 great grandsons and 4 great granddaughters.. Funeral service will be 12pm Monday, April 8, 2019 at Evergreen Funeral Home with interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8pm Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
