Rosa Maria Castro, 87, of San Luis Obispo passed away Monday, October 31, 2022. Mass will be at 10:00am., Friday, December 2, 2022 at Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa in San Luis Obispo.
Rosa was born in Los Angeles, California on July 21, 1935 to Luis and Earnestine Ornelas. She married Raymond Castro on October 3, 1958. Rosa and Raymond were residence of Los Osos for 30 years, where they proudly raised their four children. Rosa was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Castro. Rosa is survived by her children Raymond Castro Jr., Rosanna Medeiros, Rebecca Carter, Roberta Castro, grandchildren Joseph Carter, Jasmin Jakobsen, Rachel Medeiros, Bridgett Medeiros and great-grandson Joseph Carter.
Rosa will be forever remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. We will always treasure and carry her smile in our hearts.
