On January 23RD at the age of 96, Ronald W. Lyman went to be with Jesus. Ronald was a 3RD generation Plastering Contractor and came to Los Osos with his wife, Edith, and three children in 1958. You can't drive down a street in Los Osos without going by a house that he worked on, and many more throughout SLO County. Ronald worked until the age of 83. He was highly respected as a straight talker and fair man. He loved history and politics and was his family’s "go to" person for sound advice. Besides being a hard worker, Ron built radio-controlled boats from scratch. Ronald also made two boats for family skiing on Naciemento Lake. His wife, Edith, passed on 2 ½ months prior on 11/4th at the age of 91. … Ron and Edie will be missed every day. He is survived by his daughters, Joyce and Hank Mathias, Judy and Richard Houser and son, Gary and Mary Lyman. He had 6 grandchildren: Kurt, Mark, Kevin, Royce, Heather and Kendra and 6 great grandchildren. The family will have a Life Celebration on Saturday, March 5th at his Daughter’s home: Judy Houser, 1189 Pismo Ave. Los Osos, CA @ 1:00- 3:00 pm.
