Micah and I were missionary companions in Zoetermeer, the Netherlands.  She was one of the most beautiful, loving human beings I’ve ever met. I took this picture of her at the top of the Nieuwe Kerk in Delft because I was struck by her beauty and the way she seemed to savor every moment, finding magic and wonder in both the inspiring and the mundane.  I’m so thankful I had the chance to talk with her a few months ago after almost 20 years.  Her memory will inspire me to be a better person for the rest of my life. 

My deepest and most profound sympathy to Micah's family and friends.  I first met Micah when I was volunteering for the Dog Behavioral and Socialization Team at Seattle Humane.  She was instrumental in healing and saving the lives of many of our precious dogs.  She truly was a remarkable woman and a true advocate for all animals in the shelter/rescue environment.  I am so saddened to hear of her passing.  Her capabilities  and compassion is truly a loss.  May the knowledge that she was revered by those who had the opportunity to have known her bring you some peace.

Micah was a wonderful human being and brilliant vet, and I am stunned to hear of her passing. My deepest condolences to her family and friends. I met Dr. Sabey in 2017, when she saved the life of my Maine coon, Henry. Her former colleagues at Seattle Humane recommended her for his emergency PU surgery, and she responded immediately. Micah was warm, compassionate, and informative, immediately putting me at ease. She did an amazing job for Henry, who is in perfect health today, and I will never forget her kindness and expertise. I'm sure she was welcomed with joy by all our pets over the Rainbow Bridge.
