Our Mom, Mary Patricia Baker, died suddenly of a stroke on September 20, 2022. She was 83. Although she was born in Illinois, she spent most of her life in Los Osos. She is survived by two daughters Laurie Beauprey (nee Baker) and her husband Roger, and Julie Ruf (nee Baker) and her husband Thomas. She was also blessed with many grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Our Mom never met a stranger. She was greatly loved and her joyful smile will be missed by all. She was proudest of her 48 years of sobriety, as were we. If you would like to pay your respects, you are welcome to attend the memorial service and interment we are holding in her honor at Los Osos Valley Mortuary on Friday, October 28, 2022, at 10am. We invite you to make a donation to an animal shelter in her honor in lieu of sending flowers.
