Jane Elizabeth Dionne

MORRO BAY-Jane Elizabeth Dionne,93, passed away after a long and fulfilling life on Wednesday, March 6th, 2024, in Morro Bay, California.

Jane was born to Murdock and Sylvia MacKenzie on October 17th, 1930, in Oxford, Massachusetts. She was a career health and nursing professional most of her life.

Jane enjoyed spending time with family, being outdoors, thrifting and looking for nick-nacks. She was known to work on the most current crosswords and puzzles. She kept her refrigerator full for all who needed or came by and could make a mean chicken and dumplings, clam chowder and carrot cake for dessert. She was a mother of 5 (Guy, Bonnie, Donnie, Mark, and Grant), grandmother to seven, great grandmother to one, sister to six and friend to many. Family was always her highest priority, and she always wanted to ensure they were good above all.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children Mark, Donnie, Guy, Grant, and Bonnie, grandchildren, great-grandchild Addison, and siblings; Paul and Dan and those who she called friends.

As you go through life Jane would want you to go through life with purpose and these words in mind, “I want people to feel hope and I want people to feel love, especially during times like these”
