Sharon Mary Cicero

July 14, 1960 - March 12, 2014 Sharon Mary Cicero died peacefully in her Westwood home on March 12, 2014 after battling a long illness; a battle that she fought with incredible grace and courage. A woman of many talents - a successful agent, producer, and needle-pointer extraordinaire, to name a few - Sharon's greatest accomplishment and biggest joy, was being the mother to her now 16 year old daughter, Sarah, and 11 year old son, Luke. A native Californian, Sharon was born at Queen of Angels Hospital in Los Angeles on June 14th, 1960 and grew up in Sherman Oaks. She graduated Corvallis High School in 1978. A loyal Bruin fan, UCLA was naturally the college of her choice, and she graduated from there with a BS in Kinesiology and Biology in 1982. After two years at Medical School, a chance summer internship in the entertainment industry altered the course of Sharon's career. Soon thereafter, she joined CAA where she quickly became a packaging agent in their television department. Sharon left CAA in 1992 to become president for Madonna's Maverick Films. Then in 1993 she was named VP, and later, partner at Longbow Productions. She continued to partner as an indie producer with Ronnie Clemmer, one of the founders of Longbow, after that company closed, and together they went on to produce numerous movies for television. Sharon's love of all things fun included such hobbies as scuba diving and skiing. Her acts of giving and kindness knew no bounds, and she gave back to her church and community over much of her adult life. She taught 6th Grade Catechism at St. Monica's for 10 years and was a long-term member of the Pacific Palisades Junior Women's Club. A smiling, shining light in our world,Sharon, will be greatly missed by all her friends and family. She is survived by her two children, Sarah and Luke; her parents Joe & Del; her three siblings, Karen, Suzy and Matt; and her nieces Olivia, Audrey, Tess and Phoebe.
