Normita was the beloved wife of Eduardo Tan and loving mother to Joshua Santos and Jane Tan. She is survived by her sisters, Nenita Cortes and Nelinda Castillo, and brother Virgilio Sison, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends. Normita’s friends, especially those she worked with at Commerce Casino for 20 years, were like family to her, and her love for them will never be forgotten.
Known for her beauty, elegance, and grace, Normita was a proud Glamour Queen, having placed 3rd in the prestigious Miss Manila competition. Her impeccable sense of style and her love for fashion made her a true fashionista, always seen dressed elegantly and effortlessly. Normita’s love of life was mirrored in her passion for travel, especially to her beloved hometown in the Philippines, where she kept close ties with family and classmates.
A gifted master cook, Normita loved to feed those around her, often sharing her famous recipes with family and friends. Her kitchen was where love was always served with every meal. She was also a devoted pet lover, with two cats and four dogs, whom she cared for deeply.
A devout Catholic, Normita’s faith was the foundation of her life, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her kind heart, infectious smile, and generous spirit have left a lasting impact on everyone she met. Though she may no longer be with us, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and loved ones.
Normita's passing leaves a void that will never be filled, but her legacy of love, faith, kindness, and devotion will endure. May she rest in peace, embraced by the love she shared so abundantly in life.
In loving memory, may she find eternal peace in God’s care.
