I still remember this day like it was Yesterday.. this was our last Christmas Together.. It still amazes me how we all fit into that little living room and this isn’t even half the family 😧 Thank You For every little thing..  Its like I can still hear you say “No Te Estoy Regañando, Son Consejos” .. it hurts knowing you’re gone but I know you’re smiling down on us ❤️

Thank you so much for everything Abuelita. Although your memory was deteriorating, thank you for remembering who my family and I were through out it all and letting us love and care for you for the part of your life when you needed your family the most. I will always remember you and the stories you told me about my dad when he was a young man like I am, telling me about my grandpa, telling me about your whole life, and I will also remember the most random things you told me at the most random times with your vibrant and strong voice. I will always remember the times we played catch across the room as you sat on your wheelchair and catching the ball with one hand, the littlest things you used to say that bacame a part of my daily life, holding your hand as we watched TV with my siblings and parents, talking to me about whatever was on your mind that specific moment, soothing my family and I whenever one of us cried telling us “Ya no llores hijo/hija”,  your smile whenever you found something funny or nice, the way you sung to us the song “Canta y no llores”, the way you shook your shoulders to do your own little dance to songs, the time you had told me to never forget you and to tell your stories to my own kids so you would always be remembered, and so many more memories I will always remember and cherish Abuelita. I’m going to miss every single one of those days when I would go to your room to see you sleeping still in the mornings like an angel, I’m going to miss seeing you in the living room when I would come home from school, and I’m going to miss going to your room every day to say goodnight when you went to bed. Even through the toughest last two years of your life spent here in my house with my family, I want to thank you for letting us be with you to love you and care for anything you needed. I will forever have you in my heart and in my mind Abuelita. I know you will be looking down on my family and I and those you loved. Te amaré por siempre Abuelita💗
