It has been over a year since your passing and so much has happend since you left us. I have felt you around me watching over my family and think about you often. I have decided that for my son who will be born during the month of July that he will have Manuel as part of his middle name to continue my love and memory of you. We miss you so much and hope that you are living it up in the afterlife. We love you Uncle Mano!

My brother days have now passed yet you're spirit is still here among us as we go about our daily work. So we got your message about your t-shirt which brother Dan has taken care of. It was such a shock to get that news...it still is..you were very much a part of my childhood and growing up with Lauren when we were neighbors...all those memories are rushing back to me now.. Hello again uncle. Today has been a long day. All sorts of memories have came to mind. I just want to know why though. After we lost Nana I know it took a large part of me. But now you. I never wanted to have my birthday alone. I know I did a lot of bad things, but you were there if I did need you. You only showed your feelings through tough love and I am going to miss that. I love you uncle Manuel. Now fly and find Nana and may you both rest.

The Lincoln High School Alumni Association sends its deepest condolences to the Angulo family for the loss of their beloved Manuel.  He will be remembered in the association's next newsletter in the "In Memoriam" column.  He was an inspiration to many throughout his time at Lincoln High and afterwards as he served his country and community. He is an example exhibiting the finest traits of the American spirit with the heart of a Lincoln Tiger.

Manny as I write this message my eyes can't help but fill with tears
I remember one sunny day the supervisor had me bring some mail to your route, you were unhappy about how people were users and I told you Manny you're too nice I told you to draw the line with people and I will never forget what you told me as long as I live. You said I will be kind whenever I can for I shall never pass this way again. I teared up when I left your route that day. I had learned something valuable from my dear co worker. Rest in peace Manny.

You always did your job in the highest of standards. You were a great guy to be around and always ready to help your comrades. I know you took a lot of pride in who you were and loved that M-60 machine gun. RIP my Airborne brother. See you at the rally point.

Manuel may god protect you and comfort you now forever.  You are safe and happy now.  Watch over your family and protect them now as well.

John Danielsen, Infantry Major (Ret) task Force 2-505 Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airbore Division.

I was his commander in 2-505 in Grenada.  He was a good soldier who cared for his brothers and gave everything he had.  His Medal of Honor was his Service for his Country and his dedication for his fellow soldiers.  God rest his soul.  He resides with the warriors that made our Nation what it is.  I am honored to have had him as part of my unit.

Being apart of such a big beautiful family is a blessing. Being one of the many  cousins is a honor. 
A lot of my childhood was spent with the Angulo family. Julie was my BEST cousin. Whenever I was at their house it was guaranteed to be a FUN time. Manuel was so creative. He ALWAYS had a new game to play.My all time favorites were "The Dating Game" and the "Newly Wed Game". These games were played with cousins and Rauly from across the street.Sometimes Manuel would  make us cry....but we always had fun.
With Manuel around you would have to be on guard. At any given time a spit wad fight could break out.

One of my most fondest memory of Manuel was seeing him marching in the  Los Angeles All City Band in the Pasadena Rose Parade.

Thank you Manuel for giving me so many wonderful memories, lots of laughter, and keeping me tough. 

You will be missed.
