Edward Habib, 83, of Los Angeles, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his two nieces Cynthia and Rebecca and also his great-nephew Joseph. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, he was one of 14 siblings and served two years in the army. He moved to Los Angeles County in 1963 and was the VP of publishing and recording at Stanyon Records for 50 years. He was preceded in death by his partner, Rod McKuen. He is survived by his three cats, Buddy, Clint and Boots; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to ASPCA.
He will be laid to rest at 2:00pm on Friday, May 18, 2018.
