He was survived by his loving wife Suzanne, his three beautiful daughters Brooklyn, Anna and Jaclyn. His father Mike and mother Ann, older brother Mike and his wife Julie and their sons Nicholas and Benjamin.
Christian was born in Redwood City C.A. and lived and grew up in Concord C.A. where he attended Concord High school and graduated at top of his class in 1990. From there he went to San Luis Obisbo and attended California Polytechnic State University, graduating with a bachelor degree in Architectural Engineering in 1995.
After college he started working for Peter Erdelyi and associates where his career as a Structural Engineer began. He worked there for several years gaining experience and knowledge of his profession ultimately starting his own company CTW Engineers.
Christian Williamson was a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of California and Idaho and was the president of CTW Engineers, Inc. where he oversaw the structural design of custom residential, commercial, and industrial structures and provided investigative engineering services for the assessment of damaged structures and the condition of existing structures. Mr. Williamson was a faculty member at the Southern California Institute of Architecture and Woodbury University, where he taught a series of classes in the subject of structural engineering to students seeking Graduate and Undergraduate degrees in the field of Architecture. He has provided expert witnessing services for litigation involving structural damage and was approved and hired by the State of California for the Independent Readjustment Program involving independent assessment of hundreds of structures damaged during the 1994 Northridge Earthquake. His engineering experience included the design of structural retrofits for roadway and highway bridges, institutional facilities, and arena structures, and overseeing quality control and construction scheduling for large scale precast concrete construction projects. He was a member of the Structural Engineering Association of Southern California and was a board member of the Los Angeles-based Consulting Structural Engineering Society (CSES). Christian was an intelligent loving person. He was a bike aficionado as well as an avid traveler to various places through out the world where he loved photographing his beautiful wife and children. He was a wise individual who was quick to help many people by sharing his kind and worldly advice.
He will be forever missed by his family and friends. A great friend and father.
