William John Miller

William John Miller, 89, of Ovilla, Texas passed away on October 19, 2013 at his residence. He was born on March 16, 1924 in Los Angeles, CA to William Ralph and Sabina Platz Miller. Mr. Miller graduated from high school and entered the military, serving his country during WWII in the Army Air Corp. He worked as a data communications supervisor for Nevada Telephone Company until his retirement on February 13, 1978. He enjoyed golfing and tinkering with electronics.

He is survived by his daughters: Barbara Mattix and her husband Larry of Allen, TX, Nancy Garcia and her husband Simon of Ovilla, TX; Grandchildren: Danny Morency and his wife Marti of Red Oak, Raenita Weir and her husband Scott of Ohio, Tami Kimball and her husband Monte of Allen, John Willis and his wife Donna of Red Oak, Michael Mattix and his wife Gloria of Atlanta, Georgia, Stacey Maeker and her husband Mike of Southlake; fourteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Rae L. Miller, and daughter - Judy Miller.

Funeral services will be held at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel in Longview, Texas with Father Jayaseelan Lucas officiating.
