Robbie L. Kruse

Robbie graduated from Tatum High School in 1942. She met Curtis in 1940 when she was 15 and he was 16. She waited for 3 years for him to return from his service in World War II. They married on January 26, 1946 and were married for 72 years. Robbie was a full time wife and mother. She entertained everyone with her great sense of humor and was so much fun to be around. Her brother was seven years younger than she and Robbie kept him in a daze with witty little sayings that he took to mean something different from what they meant. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Robbie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald Neal Freeman; daughters, Sheila Lynn Hayes and Karen Kay Dollahite and granddaughter, Leisa Michele Klima Smith.

She is survived by her son in law, Robert Hayes; grandsons, Curtis Ray Klima, Jeramy Hayes and wife Cheri; great grandchildren, Kamryn Jones, Kaylan Jones, Karlie Smith and Brandon Hayes and sister Annell Langston.

A celebration of life for Robbie will be held Monday, February 13, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 5000 West Harrison Road, Longview, Texas 75604.
