As per the wishes of, Richard Earl Chambers of Longview, Texas, there will be a private family service. He was born September 12, 1940 in Pampa, Texas to Glen D. and Bertha Chambers. He passed away March 25, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Mary Jane Chambers Clay and mother-in-law Juanita Parker. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 45 years Peggy Kendricks Chambers and their (four legged daughter), Pepper Ann. Other loved ones include his brother and wife, Bob and Cathy Chambers of Overton, sister-in-laws and husbands, Vivian and James Romines of Pampa and Ruby and Phil Meek of Pampa, many nieces and nephews His extended family includes Gail Turner and two God daughters Melinda Bean and Miranda Vineyard and their children. Richard was a welder who worked for LeTourneau, continental Can, Oil bowl and Longview Lanes. Some of his favorite past time were fishing and being outside watching the birds and squirrels.
