Raymond H Pettit Jr.

Graveside services for Raymond H. (Pepe) Pettit, Jr. will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Mr. Pettit was born January 24, 1940, in Karnes City, Texas, to Raymond H. Sr. and Beatrice McBride Pettit, and passed away May 27, 2013 in Longview, Texas.

Pepe retired from Ben E. Keith after thirty-eight years of faithful service. He loved traveling, especially road trips in which he could travel the scenic routes, stopping to read the historical markers along his way.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 33 years Dixie Annette Nunley Pettit, and a brother Kenneth Pettit. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, daughters, Jena Moon; Judy Adkisson and husband Mike; Jerrie Zduiewicz and husband Adam; Joy Bailey and husband Terry; and a son Joe Smith; Twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; brothers, John Pettit; Joeie Pettit; Jerry Lee Pettit, and Tommy Joe Pettit, along with five furry friends, Jr., Domino, Jake, Snickers, and Rascal.

The family will receive guest Friday, May 31, 2013, from 6-8 p.m., at Lakeview Funeral Home.
