Nancy Sue Neely

Nancy Sue Neely, 78, of Big Sandy, passed away January 28, 2017 at a Tyler Hospital. She was born November 1, 1938 in Dallas, TX to John M. Neely and Julia Marguerite Elliott Neely. When she was able, she enjoyed being outside gardening and taking care of her flowerbeds. In her later years, she enjoyed playing games on her computer especially Mahjong.

She is survived by son: Jon Underwood and his wife Erin of Midland; daughter: Nicole Sanders and her husband Mike of Big Sandy; son: Paul Underwood and his wife Sandra of Port Aransas, TX; grandchildren: Jennifer Vaquera of Brownwood, Jonathan Weaver of Lubbock, Haylie Underwood of Odessa, Hartley Underwood of Odessa, Avery Underwood of Midland, Brayden Underwood of Midland, Torey Boring of Hallsville, Jacob Boring of Hallsville, Ashley Lee of Caldwell, TX, and Tiffani Rodriquez of Iraan, TX, Garrett Underwood of Port Aransas; as well as a number of great grandchildren; one sister: Karan Pearcy and her husband David of Spring, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister: Patricia Vaughn; and one daughter: Lisa Ray.

A time of visitation with the family will be from 2 to 3:00 p.m. at Lakeview Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, with the funeral services starting at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
