Michael Mike Stephen Ritchey

Services for Michael Ritchey, age 53 of Longview, will be Monday, May 14, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Mike was born on October 12, 1958 in Dallas, Texas to Billy Mack and Elsie Pitts Ritchey. He graduated from Hallsville High School in 1977. Mike was self employed working for many years in the Numismatic trade. He was well known for his depth of expertise and his unquestioned honesty and integrity. He will be greatly missed by many.

Mike is survived by his father, Bill Ritchey of Longview, brother Gary Ritchey of San Antonio and his “other brother” Gary Shepherd and his wife Katie, niece Sydney Faith Ritchey of San Antonio, two special nephews Nate and Scott Moore of Rowlett, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and colleagues. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Ritchey.

Pallbearers will be Nate Moore, Scott Moore, Steve Moore, Gary Shepherd, Clay Yoder, Randy Bobo, James Grant and Tom Keinast.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Impact 2000,Inc. 10560 Airport Road, Castroville, Texas 78009. Impact 2000 is a non-profit organization that supports international missions and orphanages.
