Marvin Wayne Hall

Marvin W Hall, age 75 of Gladewater, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, September 19, 2010. Marvin was born on November 5, 1934 in MaBank, Texas to Owen Hall and Lorene Bankston Hall.

Marvin met and married Mary Johnston and spent many happy years together. He proudly served his country in the US Army. He retired as a Steel Mill Forman. He was a member of the Pine Tree Masonic Lodge and Camille Acres Baptist Church.

“Hot Lips” was a wonderful husband, father, papaw, brother in law, and friend who loved his church and his God.

Marvin is survived by his wife Mary, sons Timmy Hall and his wife Nannette of Kilgore, Ronald Hall and his wife Cindy of Gilmer, Jason Hall and his wife Renee of Gladewater, sisters Glenda Dawson of MaBank, Deborah Tuttle of MaBank, brothers Bobby Hall and his wife Nancy of Eustace, Terry Hall and his wife Terri of Carlton, Donald Hall and his wife Jan of Windsor, California, grandchildren Christopher Hall, Cody Hall and Christopher Haden.

He is preceded in death by his parents Owen and Lorene Hall, sister Carolyn Hemby, and grandson Brandon Hall.

The family will receive family and friends for visitation on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Lakeview Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Camille Acres Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Ayers officiating.

Those who wish may make donations in Marvin’s memory to the Building Fund of Camille Acres Baptist Church.
