Kenneth Thompson

Kenneth was born on September 18th, 1956 in Tyler, Texas to Clarence Holwood Thompson and Bonnie Jean Cooper. After high school, Kenneth joined the Army and shortly after, he married Linda on January 21st, 1974.

After serving in the Army, he worked hard for many years and eventually retired from ExxonMobil. His hobbies and interests included traveling, coin collecting, riding motorcycles, classic cars and most importantly, spending time with his grandchildren.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years Linda, his brother and sister Danny Thompson and Ann Stone, and his grandsons Alan and Ian Thompson.

Kenneth is survived by his son Brian Thompson and wife Christi of Hallsville, Texas; daughter Kimberly Lee and husband Jeremy of Union Grove, Texas; grandchildren Anthony, Nicholas, Maci, Lexi, Jordan, and Hailey; sister Glenda Adair of Tyler, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Premier Home Care and Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview for taking wonderful care of Kenneth during this time.
