Glenda Carroll Medlin, 74, of Terrell Texas passed away January 9, 2019 in Rowlett, Texas. Glenda was born August 22, 1944 in Houston, Texas to Walter and Lorean Day. Glenda graduated from East Mountain High School. She loved all sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. Glenda always made sure she had her favorite drink, Diet Dr. Pepper. She enjoyed plants, flowers, and being outdoors but mostly, she enjoyed spending time with her beloved cat, Barney. Glenda was a devoted, loving and hardworking mother who will be missed dearly.
Glenda is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Franklin Medlin; parents, Walter and Lorean Day; brother, Billy Day. She is survived by daughter, Tammy Armstrong of Kilgore, Texas; Son Michael Medlin of Port Arthur, Texas; son Keith Medlin and wife Pam of Mesquite, Texas; grandchildren: Jacob and Jason Melton, Joseph Armstrong, Natalie Barrows, Brooke and Ty Medlin; sister in-law, Linda Day; nieces, Gayla McAfae, Belinda Day and her beloved pet, Barney.
