Services for Gary Russell McCabe will be under the direction of Lakeview Funeral Home, Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints.
Mr. McCabe was born March 29, 1934 to James and Ester McCabe in Emporia, Kansas, and passed away July 15, 2011 at the age of 77.
Mr. McCabe was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving in the Korean War, and later went on to be the shipping supervisor at Lone Star Steel company. He is survived by his wife Joann McCabe; son, Rick McCabe and wife Gena; daughter, Sally Ann Harris and husband Paul; mother in law, Sally Butler; 14 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Furtado and husband Manuel; sister in law, Dolores MCabe; step children, Mitch Adams; Shenette Mahler; and Von Adams; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
