Mr. Nolan was born March 16, 1945 in Gilmer, Texas to Cleo Carl and Georgia Frances Nolan and attended Gilmer High School. Frank loved to camp, fish, play cards and dominos, and spend time with his family and friends. He began employment at Lone Star Steel in 1967 as a diesetter and stayed a dedicated employee for 40 years until his retirement in 2007. After retirement, he worked part time at Wellborn Mechanical Services for 12 years.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Walter A. Nolan, Rex Nolan, Carl Nolan; and precious great granddaughter Khloe Whitaker. He leaves behind his loving wife of 58 years Judy Nolan of Longview; daughter and son-in-law Nathan and Melissa Coleman of Hallsville; daughter Pamela Hudson of Dallas; grandchildren Brittney and JaKelvin Bussey, Marissa Coleman, Nolan Coleman; great granddaughter Paisley Whitaker; brother and sister-in-law George and Dot Nolan; sister-in-law Rosa Morris; and other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The Nolan Family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice Plus of Longview, Dr. Greifenkamp and Longview Regional Medical Center and staff who all took great care of him in his final days.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Lakeview Funeral Home on Friday, April 4th, 2025 at 10:00 am with a time of visitation one hour prior.
