Edna Fay White Smith, 68, of Longview, TX; passed away on December 19, 2011 in Longview. She was born on February 1, 1943 in Garrison, TX to Drew Edwin and Jewell White. Mrs. Smith worked in the electronics lab at LaTourneau for over 30 years before she retired.
She is survived by her sons: Billy “Trooper” Smith of Longview,TX; Paul “Buddy” Smith and his wife Tracy of Longbranch, TX; daughter: Donna Smith Shands and her husband Keith of Valley View, TX; grandchildren: Mikey Hail, Shenna Tilbury, Cecelia Smith, Dustin Drew, Daniel Drew, Kendall Drew; Great Grandchildren: Rylee Tilbury, Waylon Tilbury, Carlie Hail, Nickolas Lumbert and Alana Fay Drew; brother: John White of Forney, TX; Sister: Ginny Gillis of Monroe, TX; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband of over 50 years- Franklin Smith, Brother-Billy White, Sister-Eva White, Sister-in-law: Joyce White, Aunt Pearlie Mae Allen.
A family memorial service will be held at 10:00 on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at the Chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home in Longview, TX.
