Dorothy Marie Joines, 67, of White Oak, Texas passed away on July 3, 2013 at a local hospice facility. Ms. Joines was born on May 21, 1946 in Mexia, Texas to Otis Alfred and Lillian Marie Phillips Joines. She was a bookkeeper for Gregg County, enjoyed crocheting and collecting stamps.
Ms. Joines is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Carla and Erick Sawyer of Gilmer; brother: Al Joines and his wife Betty of Azle, TX; nieces and nephews: Pam, Steven, Otis, and Kenny. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the Chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home, Longview, Texas with the Rev. Vince Edmondson officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2-4:00 p.m. before the services.
