Dorothy A. Gibson

Dorothy is preceded in death by her father Charlie Emmel, mother, Ruth Evelyn Case, grandson Bobby Simpson, husband Joe Dell Gibson, eldest grandson Daniel Simpson & sister Charlene Hitt.

Dorothy is survived by her children; daughter Della Modisette & spouse Bret Modisette & son Joe David Gibson & spouse Kristina Gibson; grandchildren Deven Lammert & Breannen Christian; great grandchildren Kennedi Simpson, Maggie Simpson, Brayden Pena, Kinleigh Pena & Emory Pena and numerous, nieces, nephews & friends.

A time of visitation with her family will be held Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Lakeview Baptist Church, 10522 Farm to Market Rd 2011, Longview, TX 75603, followed by a celebration of her life at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Hi-Way 80 Rescue Mission in Longview, TX.
