Don L Lankford, 82, of Hallsville, TX passed away on May 18, 2014. He was born December 16, 1931 in Ballinger, TX. He was a Marine and served in Korea.
He was a member and elder of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Longview.
He is survived by his wife Thelma Jo Lankford of Hallsville; daughter Christy Lankford Barnhill and her husband Danny of Lubbock; son Russell Lankford and his wife Deanna of Hallsville; grandchildren: Josh, Amber, April and Beth Lankford and Cassie Barnhill Lennox; great grandchildren: Sara Lankford and Kalel Riley; brother: LK Lankford and his wife Barbara of Ballinger, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife of 48 years, Clara; and granddaughter Ashley Barnhill
A memorial service will be held in his honor at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Longview, TX with Rev. Kemper Huber officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Belvedere Cemetery in San Angelo, Texas.
