Clara Davis Stone

Clara was always very active over the years. She was a past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star. She loved to quilt and was a member of the quilting group at Winterfield Methodist Church for many years. She spent many happy hours playing pinochle and as a member of the Red Hat Society. Clara was a faithful member of her Sunday school class, Son Followers, at Mobberly Baptist Church.

Clara was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Steve Vance Stone. She is survived by her daughter Teresa Allison and her husband Jack, son Steve Stone and his wife Irene, daughter Karen Jenkins and her husband Brant, daughter Sharon Knopp and her husband Paul, 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

The family will receive family and friends for visitation on Friday, February 4, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Lakeview Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Gregg Zackary and Rev. Scott Schulik officiating
