Blake Evers

Blake Evers, 30, born June 15, 1982, to Bruce and Lori Neeley Evers, passed from this life on January 12, 2013 in Longview, Texas.

The family will receive friends at a “Gathering of Remembrance” from 2:00 -4:00 p.m., Thursday, January17, 2013 at Lakeview Funeral Home. The world has lost a jester, and artist, and a philosopher. Family and friends will miss Blake’s quick wit and his quirky sense of humor. He had a loving spirit that touched all who knew him. He loved to challenge the norm. Blake was never, ever boring. He added a richness to our lives. He is gone too soon, but our memories will sustain us until God brings us together again.

Blake is preceded in death by his grandfather, Dewey Herbert Evers, Jr.; and his grandmother, Allene Owen.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Bruce and Lori Evers; brother, Wesley Evers and wife Tisha; nephew, Alex Craig Evers; Grandmother, Frances Evers; special aunt and uncle, Lisa and Jim Sulser; aunts, Lisa Evers; Launda Janda and husband Dennis; Jeni Hileman and husband Kevin; Jami Gladden; Betty Anderson; and Candra Troop. As well as numerous cousins and friends.
