Beth Hagen, 83, of Longview, TX passed away June 16, 2018 at her residence in Longview. She was born August 31, 1934 in Pelican, LA to Andrew Jackson and Lois Johnston. Beth went to school in Union Grove and graduated Valedictorian of her class. She went on to attend SMU were she met and married the father of her two boys. She later married Carl Hagen in Longview. The two of them owned and operated Longview Fireplace Store on Hwy. 80.
She is survived by her son: Jeff Green of Longview; granddaughters: Kylie Green and Lauren Green of McKinney, TX; brothers: Glen Johnston of Gladewater and Beau Johnston of Clinton, OK; sister: Faye Carter of Longview; as well as her beloved Papillion: Penny. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl, and son: Clay Green.
A time of visitation with her family will be held from 5 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Lakeview Funeral Home, 5000 West Harrison Road, Longview, TX.
