Soon after she was born, the family moved to Dallas, TX where Anita grew and played and made lifelong friends in the Lake Highlands area. Her zest for fun, creativity, energy, infectious laugh and beautiful smile made her irresistible to anyone who met her.
Anita is survived by a daughter, Alex Navarro Scott (Quinton); grandsons, Waylon Scott and Gavin Navarro; mother, Muriel Turinsky; sisters, Theresa Nevitt, Valerie Storer (Wayne), and Katherine Smith; and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her son, Marcus Navarro; father, Al Turinsky, Sr.; and brother, Al Turinsky, Jr.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 1305 Damascus Rd., Rockwall, TX 75087, Friday December 10th at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow immediately at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 3900 Rowlett Rd, Rowlett, TX 75088.
