William R. Kee

William Bill R. Kee, 86, of Longmont passed away March 7, 2016. He was born November 5, 1929 in Rock Hill, South Carolina to Lonnie and Bessie Mae (McCraven) Key.Bill served in the US Air Force from 1950 to 1954; he married Lorraine Kiesser on October 13, 1951 in Spokane, Washington.Bill and family moved to Hygiene, Colorado in 1962, moving two years later to Broomfield, CO and then back to Longmont in 1997.Bill was a tax accountant; he started his own accounting business KEE-ASCO, LLC in the early 1970's. He also was superintendent for Mile High Water Company in Broomfield for thirty years.Bill's involvement in several churches through his life included: Sunday school teacher, deacon and trustee on church boards, treasurer, and singing in the choir. He loved hunting, fishing and camping with his sons and grandsons and with friends and family. Bill was a man who could fix anything from cars to watches.He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Ann Morris.Bill is survived by his wife Lorraine, two sons; Ron Kee (Dixie) and LaDon Kee (Patty), two daughters; Willa Pendleton (Wayne) and Anita Humphreys (Randy), two brothers; John Kee (June) and Richard Kee (Libby), a sister Ruth Underwood, twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.Funeral service will be 11 am Monday, March 14, 2016 at Summit Foursquare Church, 703 17th Ave, Longmont, CO 80501. Viewing will be at the church prior to the service on Monday. Interment will follow the service at Foothills Gardens of Memory Cemetery, with military honors at the cemetery by the US Air Force and American Legion Post 32, with a luncheon reception at LifeBridge Christian Church, 10345 Ute Hwy, Longmont, CO 80504.Memorial contributions can be sent to Gideons International “ Raritan Camp, P.O.
