Wayne Peterson

On December 7, 2023, Wayne joined his wife in heaven. Wayne was born February 27, 1937 in Dry Knob, Missouri, to Orville Peterson and Anna Elizabeth Pendergraft Peterson. After graduating from Chillicothe High School in 1955 he married his high school sweetheart, Carol Ann Griggs Peterson in 1956. In Missouri, he was a seed salesman. After moving to Boulder, Colorado, Wayne was a car salesman for Chevrolet and Toyota. Wayne and Carol Ann enjoyed camping for many years. He then joined his son, Larry in siding houses while living in Niwot, then moving to Longmont. One of his favorite times every year was at the Yesteryears‘s Farm Show, having all of his grandkids driving his tractors in the parade.

He joins his wife, his parents, two daughters, Kathleen and Karen and a sister and a brother in heaven. He is survived by daughter Sheri (Randy) Noterman, son Larry (Mary) Peterson. Grandchildren, Ryan (Michaela) and their five children, Nicholas (Lacey) and their two children, Matthew (Becky) and their daughter, Kayla (Branden) Chesterfield and their son, Kaitlin and her three sons. Wayne will also be missed by his neighbors at Hover Village duplexes.

Services are to be held January 12, 2023 at 10 AM at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel followed by a reception at Wayne‘s home.
