She returned to the United States in 1960 and accepted a staff position at Community Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.
Frances married the love of her life, Hugh Robert Thompson, February 22, 1962. They moved their family to Colorado in 1967 and raised their children in what Frances always considered the most beautiful place on earth, the mountains of Colorado. Frances’ family and friends were blessed by her incredible generosity and a sense of humor that carried her and others through difficult times. She will be remembered as a patient, thankful servant who always put others first. She lived out her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ by demonstrating and sharing His love with other people.
Family and friends will celebrate Frances’ life at a memorial service to be held at 2pm on Saturday, September 6, at Calvary Church in Longmont. Pastor Tom Hovestol will officiate.
