Steven M. Grant

Steven M. Grant 56, of Longmont passed away December 27, 2015 in Longmont. He was born August 28, 1959 in Longmont, CO to William B. and Phyllis (Lockwood) Grant.Steve graduated from Longmont High School in 1977 and CSU with a business degree in 1981. He received his Master's Degree in Theology and choral conducting from Cincinnati Bible College and a Masters in psychology from Regis University.Steve married Stephanie Grismore-Smith on September 8, 2007. They had been together for a decade and she faithfully cared for him during the final year of his life as he battled cancer. He had previously been married to Ann Digiallonardo in 1981, they later divorced.Steve went to work for Rocky Mountain Christian Church in 1984 as a youth and music minister. He later went to work for Vitesse as the director of Human Resources. He then worked for New Measures where he was a joint owner and CEO.Steve was a member of LifeBridge Christian Church where he was actively involved in leading and contributing to the music ministry. He enjoyed playing tennis, hiking, fishing, skiing and back country youth trips. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family was the most important thing to him.He was preceded in death by his father William Bill Grant.Steve is survived by his wife Stephanie, two daughters Stefany Morgan (Justin), Rachel Larsen (Eric), two grandchildren Sage Morgan and Emma Larsen, his mother Phyllis Grant, a brother Bill Grant, a sister Valerie Grant and her husband Dave White, he is also survived by Stephanie's three children and two grandchildren Noah and Madilyn.Memorial service will be 11 AM Thursday Dec. 31, 2015 at LifeBridge Christian Church. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to CaringBridge or LifeBridge Christian Church and sent in care of LifeBridge Christian Church.
