Steven Dale Aberle

Steve was born on September 23, 1955 in Bloomington, Indiana to Joseph H. and Genevieve D. (Herman) Aberle. He graduated from Longmont High School in 1973. While growing up Steve was involved in Boy Scouts.

Steve married Mara Walgren in Longmont on June 8, 1974. The couple divorced after 20 years together. Steve enjoyed boating and camping and had an interest in cars. Steve was a bus driver for RTD.

Steve is survived by his parents, Joe and Genevieve of Longmont; four brothers: Mark (Cheryl) of Superior, Tom (Kristi) of Ft. Collins, Gary of Silver Plume and Scott of Longmont, and nieces and nephews Lauren, Katelyn, Jeffery, Nicholas, and Matthew and by many extended family members.

Mass of Christian Burial for Steve will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 30 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Longmont. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services.

Memorials may be given to the St. Francis of Assisi Building Fund, 2410 B Trade Centre Ave., Longmont, CO 80503.
