Steve Johnson

Steve Johnson passed away May 11, 2018 at Longmont United Hospital. He was 58 years old.Steve was born on September 27, 1959 in LaCrosse, WI to Larry and Joyce (Ghelf) Johnson.His dad was a fisherman and Steve began working with him when he was seven years old. He graduated from Desoto High School in Wisconsin and attended college in California.On April 18, 1992 he married Lisa Cox in Boulder, CO. Together they moved to Longmont from Boulder in 1993.Steve worked at the Dark Horse in Boulder for 40 years. He belonged to the BCA Pool leagueand enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, and being outdoors.He was preceded in death by his father Larry.Steve is survived by his wife Lisa Johnson; his children Sabrina, Trenton, Makenna and GarrettJohnson; his mother Joyce; his brothers Jeff and John Johnson; his sisters Cheryl Dammon, RaeHolliday, Lynn Hohman and Tama Trussoni; his mother and father-in-law Wayne and Bonnie Cox and his good friends Dave Tobin, Chris Verrips and Andy Klaus-Corritore.A memorial service will be held at the Dark Horse in Boulder, CO on June 3rd from 12-3pm.Memorial contributions can be made to Steve Johnson Memorial.
