Shelly Nelson

She graduated from Longmont Senior High School in 1975 were she was a member of the Trojanettes and participated in 4H where she was Miss Junior Colorado; and attended the University of Northern Colorado and Aims Community College for two years.

On September 24, 1977 she married William Owen Nelson. She worked in retail until 1984 before becoming a Realtor in 1986 until semi retiring in 2018.

Shelly belonged to the Olive Tree and Lampstand Ministry and in her free time enjoyed sewing, crafts, helping Bill with the family business and was a loving mother and spouse.

She was preceded in death by her father Marvin.

Shelly is survived by her husband William "Bill" Nelson of Hygiene; her daughters Marissa Nelson of Lafayette and Myriah Nelson of Longmont; her mother Maxine Price-Peppler; her grandchildren Jaden Nieto, Liam Nelson and Logan Nelson all of Hygiene; her brother Doug Peppler and her sister Dana Mcauley.

A memorial service was held at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel on Saturday February 18, 2023. Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
