Having worked for Ross for several years, but more importantly considered him a dear friend, he was constantly understanding, compassionate and would always be available to talk no matter what was happening. I will greatly miss him, and I am sure many others will also. 

Ross and I had a lot of afternoon coffees together at Seagate.  I will miss those times.  Sadly I have only a few photos of Ross on my phone.  We made several trips together to Thailand and Malaysia.  Ross had a unique don't panic kind of sense to him and could manage to craft PowerPoint update slides minutes before, or even during, a meeting.  And of course, Ross was up on all devices and news Apple.  Good times and memory.

Ross had a unique sense of humor that he brought to our weekly staff meetings.  He often shared a funny quote along with a picture.  It was always interesting to see what he was going to share with the group each week.  I will miss his humor as well as his candor, positive attitude, and giving heart that he shared with his colleagues.

Ross was the first friend I made when I moved to Longmont 3 years ago. Becoming friends with him was so easy. Being brand new in a new city and state, Ross took it upon himself to show me around Colorado and did so with kindness and sweetness. 

Through the pandemic, we’d chat almost everyday about how things were going professionally and personally and I knew how frustrated he felt about not going into work in person and supporting his staff. 

I will miss you my dear friend but I know you are smiling and watching over us. ❤️

We are so very sad. Ross has been part of most of our adult life, as we have been part of his, since he was born. We could never have imagined we would be sat here writing this. Far more of a nephew than the son of our best friends, we have shared in his growing up as he has shared in the growing up of our children and grandchildren. In earlier times there were the many family visits from one home to the other, the many joyous events like firework and birthday parties, christenings, a wedding and of course the spectacular Thomas/Edwards families’ holiday in Florida. Just one big happy family group with Ross the calm elder statesman of our sibling/pseudo sibling gang.  

The measure of Ross is not in what he achieved, though he achieved much to be proud of, it's who he was, who he is in our individual and collective memories. We knew him to be a very loving son and brother and he was undeniably a thoughtful, kind and caring friend to us, our family and to so many others. We will all miss him.

Sweet childhood memories 💙 Ross always looked out for the younger family members. 

Whenever I travelled to Longmont, Ross was always the first person I arranged to meet after touchdown ... generally in a local bar, where we would then proceed to put the world to rights. Ross always had time for people and such a wry sense of humour. He was a great friend & colleague - one of the 'good guys'. I and so many others will miss him enormously.

I had many great conversations with Ross over the years.  What a truly great person.   I remembered this picture I took of him before a factory tour.  We were laughing because they couldn’t find a jacket that properly fit.  He wasn’t pleased I took the picture - and I hadn’t shared it with anyone — until now.  Ross I hope you will forgive me for posting this - every time I see the picture in my camera roll I smile and think of our fun times together.  RIP Ross - you will be missed!

Where do I begin every time I think of our times together I just smile.  You were one of the funniest, most generous, clever, compassionate, caring, loving person to have as a Cousin/Brother, someone we could always turn too.
Tomas loved your conversations about which of the Star Wars trilogies was the best. He loved chatting too you.  Tom could always turn to you for help at College and University.
Dave will always remember from an early age, talking to Ross about his favourite subjects, Sci-Fi, Books, Marvel Series and Films.

My conversations with Ross were always enjoyable and covered a wide variety of topics.  His sense of humor, British English (It always made Ross laugh when I had to  ask for a conversion to American English) and caring for everyone allowed us to explore many topics including our perspectives on politics and religion.

Glad to have shared our American adventure with you Ross and glad we were able to share in yours….

Here’s a little photo from the Alien Cathouse Diner as we stopped for a coffee en-route to Death Valley. Little did we know there was more than a food and drink menu on offer or that a very young Logan could read quite so well….

You will always be more than just a cousin to Logan and Noah, they always loved your visits to Vegas and you live on within  our hearts and fond memories….

Ross is my best friend. We did all sorts of (silly) things together and always looked out for each other. Ross was very genuine and kind. We argued all the time but he never stopped caring for me. Ross taught me a couple things to help me become a better person; I look up to him a lot in secret so he wouldn't get too proud. I enjoyed every moment with Ross and I am very lucky to have him by my side. 

My sincere condolences on the passing of Ross. We lost a great friend and an awesome manager at Seagate. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

For our wonderful nephew Ross who always had a ready smile and cheeky sense of humour often sharing a joke with his younger brother and their uncle.   
We fondly remember the time when we went to France with Ross and his mother, he became our very brisk moving tour guide around Paris for the duration, under and overground transport made easy the language barrier no problem we had such fun. 
We had the privilege to hold Ross from a baby to watch him grow to a man we were so lucky a part of his life.

I first met Ross when he came to work at Xyratex Havant UK.
He was always going to be successful.  He was my manager for a chunk of years, one of the best I had in my career. I have very fond memories of our Friday morning breakfast club. He came to my wedding  shortly before he departed for Colorado where he was having a great life. My deepest sympathies to his family and those closest to him for their loss.


Ross was a great mentor and friend.  His Indian restaurant recommendations were always trustworthy, and he was one of the funniest people I knew.  I share in everyone's loss.
