Roberta Bobbie H. Brennan of Longmont, CO went to be with her Lord and Savior December 26, 2014. She was 96 years old.Bobbie was born June 25, 1918 in Rawson, Ohio the daughter of Ina and Joy Bishop.She graduated from Findlay High School and attended Miami University in Ohio. She left college after one year and became a war bride to Eugene C. Hart, the love of her life who she met in the 5th grade. Eugene trained pilots for the United States Army Air Corps.The war years brought both blessings and tragedy. Bobbie's brother Bill was shot down over the English Channel. The blessings were her two children.Bobbie loved her family so very much and enjoyed having everyone over for meals. She loved to travel, playing cards, reading books, music-especially the old 40's and 50's songs, playing golf and shopping, shopping and shopping.She worked as a bookkeeper for the Sun Sentinel newspaper and for the Lincoln Mercury auto dealer both in Pompano Beach, Florida.Bobbie volunteered for the Red Cross and the cancer treatment center in Pompano Beach, FL.She is preceded in death by her husband Eugene Hart and second husband Archie Brennan, her mother Ina Bishop and father Joy Bishop, and brothers Bill and Dick Bishop.She is survived by her son Michael Hart of Pine Island, FL and her daughter Judith Hardesty and husband Gene of Longmont, daughter-in-law Laurel Korba and husband Regis of The Villages, FL; grandchildren Holly Powers, Heather Wirth, Heath Hardesty, Bill Hart, Matthew Hart and Michael Hart and great-grandchildren Ellaina Powers, Evan Powers, Owen Powers, Lindsey Wirth, Blake Wirth, Silas Hardesty and Duncan Hart.Bobbie's family would like to thank everyone who helped care for Bobbie at The Bridge, Life Care and TRU Community Care hospice.Memorial services will be held 10:00am Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at The Bridge Assisted Living, 2444 Pratt St. Longmont.
