Robert John Trott

Capt. Robert J. Trott, US Navy (Ret.), of Longmont, passed away October 12, 2018 at a local care facility. He was 96 years old. He was born in Manchester, NH on November 5, 1921 to John H. and Ruth Mila (Bronson) Trott.

Bob was a distinguished graduate of Annapolis Naval Academy and served 30 years in the US Navy where he celebrated an amazing career with countless honors.

Bob was married to Alene Taggart-Trott who preceded him in death. Survivors include his children, Cynthia Clement and Julia Trott (twin daughters) of Hawaii, Judy DiGiacomo of Longmont, Ron (Gemma) Taggart of Angeles City, Philippines and granddaughter, Jacinth Williams as well as five more grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, Bob was preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Trott and Barbara Rosenbluth.
