

Robert Seader, 78, passed away surrounded by his wife and daughters on Sunday, February 14, 2021. Robert grew up in Longmont, and farmed alongside his father from the time he could walk. He attended Longmont High School, and after that, was drafted into the army to fight in Vietnam. He served his country from 1965-1967 and was granted the Vietnam Service Medal with Bronze Service Star, the Combat Infantryman Badge Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal. He rose to the rank of Sergeant. Robert was a farming and family man, and was always happiest spending the day working in the fields and spending the evenings with his girls. Robert and his wife were able to retire and sell the farm in 2006 and have resided in Greeley ever since. In his retirement, Robert kept himself busy with yardwork, vacations, and playing cards. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sharon, and his daughters Kimberly and Sherry. He is preceded in death by his daughter Stacey. A viewing will be held at Howe Mortuary from 3-6 pm on Friday, February 19, 2021. A forthcoming celebration of life will be held in the summer for those closest to Robert to come together and honor his extraordinary life
