Remembering Rich on this day of the Indy 500 who went every year.

Richard and I swapped cars back in 1970. I had a 56 Chevy and he had a 57 Ford., black and white. 2 dr hardtop, no headliner. I think someone had caught it on fire with a cigarette. There was $100 in the deal from one side to the other, can’t remember which way. We didn’t stay in touch much over the years as is often the case but all the memories are good. I’m sure that if one thinks of Richard it will bring a smile to their face and not a frown. That’s a good thing.

Rich was one of the finest men I’ve ever known. A loving and devoted husband, a dedicated and hard worker, Rich was a true “people person” .His infectious laughter brightened everyone’s day. He will be greatly missed.
