Richard Charles Moll

Richard Charles "Dick" Moll, of Longmont passed away June 14, 2020. He was 80 years old. Richard grew up in Rochester, NY. Graduated from Irondequoit High School 1958. He was in French club, swim team and Lacrosse. Attended Michigan State University, member of Theta Chi Fraternity and graduated in the College of Business 1963.

Richard was in the Army National Guard of Michigan as a reserve of the Army in July 1963. Richard was awarded a certificate for Linemans Course in Signal School, Leadership Career Development Course and 70 hours of Driver Training. He was awarded the Expert Rifle M-14. He fought in the Detroit riots in July 1967. Richard was Honorably Discharged as Staff Sergeant E6 in July 1969.

Richard spent thirty years managing home textile businesses from buyer to VP-GMM in department stores and owner & operator of a bath shop in the midwest states. Later Richard became a sales rep and manager for Newmark Rug Company and Mohawk Rug and textiles in the southeast states. Richard went into the real estate business in the state of Florida. Retiring at age 70, he took up professional photography and entered art contests.

Richard married Karen Adrianne (Bruenig) Moll on March 20, 1976. Richard has two sons from a previous marriage; Steven Richard Moll, 10/15/1967; married to Robyn Barker and Bradley Southworth Moll, 7/4/1972 married to Melanie Moll; grandchildren Emma and Ben Moll. Richard has two step-children; Michelle Rethman, married to Tom Rethman; four grandchildren, Devin, Garrett, Tara and Jenna; Adam Oklesh, married to Lindsay Oklesh; grandchildren, Kendra, Ashlyn and Elias. Brother: Corwin Robert Moll Dec 8, 1937--January 2, 1990. Sister-in-law; Gloria Askew, nephews & niece Mark, Scott and Malia Moll. Cousins; Sue Miller & Carol McKay. Second cousins; Nancy Ruthkowski, Doug Huff, Jr. & Jennifer Frazen.

Richard loved sport cars, boats, photography, traveling, going to music concerts, watching football and baseball and most of all, being with all his children and grandchildren.
