Her love of nature and the outdoors inspired all who knew her.Her desire to help in the WWII effort led her to join the Cadet Nurse Corps in Ogden, UT at the Thomas D. Dee Memorial Hospital. She graduated and became an R.N. in December, 1946 and married J on February 14, 1947 in the LDS Temple in Logan. After living in Utah until 1960, they moved to Pueblo, CO where Regina worked at Parkview Hospital. In 1963, they moved to Longmont, CO and she worked at the Longmont Osteopathic Hospital. J and Regina loved to travel in their 5th Wheel. They especially enjoyed the time spent with numerous friends at their beautiful property in Montana. With parents who were both teachers, she was taught the value of education and the love of reading. These values were passed on to her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, and her sons Charles (Diane) Turner of Loveland, Lynn (Mary) Turner of Broomfield and Robert (Kathleen) Turner of Cheyenne, WY; her daughters JoAnn Turner and Suzanne (Dan) Kloster of Longmont; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
