Paula Sue Kuhn-Wolken

Paula was born on March 14, 1952, in Johnstown, PA, to Joseph Freenock, and Dolores M. Malzi. Paula graduated from Johnstown High School. Paula was a Licensed Practical Nurse. In 1990, Paula met John Wolken at a roller-skating rink. On July 4, 2001, Paula married John.

Paula moved to Longmont in 1973, from Johnstown, PA. On October 14, 1973, she married Kenneth Kuhn, and had two sons, then divorced in 1987. Paula was a nurse at the Longmont Hospital and at many nursing homes. She also ran a daycare and worked at roller skating rinks. Paula was a nurse at a podiatrist office. Paula loved working in her beautiful garden and flower beds. She also loved cooking, baking, and having large family gatherings. Paula enjoyed sewing, roller skating, bike rides, hikes, ice skating, and decorating extensively for the holidays. She truly went all out for Christmas!

Paula is survived by her husband John Wolken, two sons: Nick Kuhn of Longmont, CO and Justin Kuhn of Craig, CO; two stepsons: Erik Wolken of Broomfield, CO and Brett Wolken of Erie, CO; three sisters: Faylene Gosnell and Marlene Freenock of Johnstown, PA and Chris Faust of Windber, PA; four brothers: Bruce Freenock, Randy Freenock, Jimmy Freenock, and Bobby Freenock, all of Johnstown, PA; five grandchildren: Seth Wolken, Nate Wolken, Garrett Wolken, Grant Wolken, and Brooke Wolken; one great grandchild: Wrenley Wolken. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Freenock and Dolores Malzi, and one sister, Lori Freenock.
