Nancy P. Forrest

Nancy Plumb Forrest, 75, of Longmont, CO passed away September 6, 2014. Nancy was born April 8, 1939 in Grand Rapids, MI to Norris Dwight and Arthella (Stander) Plumb.Nancy grew up in Grand Rapids, graduating from East Grand Rapids High School. She went on to study at Northwestern University.Nancy married Paul Dorsey Forrest in 1961 and they later divorced in 1970. She moved to the Longmont area from San Jose, CA in 2005.Nancy was an Administrative Secretary at CMX in Santa Clara, CA, Louth in Santa Clara, CA, Sunrise Medical in Gunbarrel, CO and Boulder Scientific in Mead, CO.Nancy enjoyed spending time with family and friends, visiting the mountains, ballet and reading.Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.Nancy is survived by her daughters Chrisanne Keswick of Bloomington, MN and Karie Cooper of Longmont, CO, her sister Barbara Foster of Lafayette, CO, 5 grandchildren, Natalie, Laurie and Heidi Keswick of Bloomington, MN and Rachel and Ryan Cooper of Longmont, CO, nephew Jeff Foster of Boca Raton, FL and niece Julie Hedlund of Lafayette, CO.A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels of Longmont, CO in c/o Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
