Myron was born on April 17th, 1942, to Martin and Ida (Weitz) Adolf in Hazen, North Dakota. Myron lived in Hazen, ND, on the family farm and graduated from Hazen HS in 1960– Go Bison, he went on to join the Army and served during the Vietnam War 1965-1967. Myron was a Private in the Army and was a Heavy Vehicle Driver. Myron received a National Defense Service medal, a Good Conduct medal, and a Sharp Shooter medal.
After the Army, Myron ran Adolf Construction and a small restaurant in Frederick, The Sunburst Café, this is where he met the love of his life Debbie Irwin. In 1980, Myron started work at ASARCO in Denver, CO. In 1981, Myron married Debbie Irwin and inherited 3 Daughters, Paula, Kathy, and Lisa. Myron and Debbie went on to run several restaurants in the Tri-town, The Coffee Urn and The Plaza Cafe.
Myron retired from ASARCO in 1996 and became a School bus driver for Adams 12 School District. After retiring and the death of his wife Debbie, Myon joined the Silver Sneakers at Carbon Valley Rec Center, where he became a driver for the senior center. That is where he met Pat McGrath. Myron and Pat became each other's companions and enjoyed each other's company and families.
Myron loved to camp, fish, gamble, and spend time with his family. He loved watching the Broncos.
Myron is predeceased in death by his Mother and Father, Martin and Ida (Weitz) Adolf Wife Debbie Irwin Adolf, Sister Bernice and Brother-in-law Bob Baisch, Father and mother- in -law Jr. and Katherine Bell, Brother and sister in law Robert and Sandy Derr, Brother, and sister in law Steve and Pat Bell, Niece’s Mashelle and Sheila Derr.
He is survived by daughters Paula (Art) Padilla, Kathy Edwards, and Lisa (Tad) Brooker. Grandchildren Justin (Carrie) Padilla, Jeremiah (Brooke) Padilla, Brandon (Leandra) Edwards, Kayla (Steven) Piotrowski, Nicole (Josh) Bielecki, Natalie (Jake) Brooker. Great Grand Children Hannah (Tyler) Pickard, Haley Pickard, Holly Pickard, Peyton Padilla, Ariana Saigee, Blake and Landen Edwards, Celestyn Piotrowski, and Rori Bielecki. Companion Pat McGrath Niece Jonda Baer, Nephews Todd, and Corey Baish. And several other family members.
Services will be held at Howe Mortuary on May 5th, 2023, at 10:00 am. Cremation has been entrusted with Howe Mortuary.
