It takes a special person to place everyone before themselves .
Miguel Antonio Chavez Eagle 24, was a bright Free Spirit full of spunk, he had a passion for the outdoors and loved adventure, he was always ready for anything spontaneous.
Miguel was one of ten siblings, a caring uncle, he loved his nieces and nephews so much. He was a brother, son, best friend and life of the party no matter where he was, definitely one of a kind.
Although his life was never easy, he continued to thrive to be better. Miguel started working for UCHealth at the age of 18 in laundry, eventually moving into a role in Environmental services and continued to progress in his career where he became a G.I./surgical tech.
Working alongside many doctors in both simple and also life-changing procedures. His smile and outgoing personality brightened the halls of the Longs Peak Hospital.
His dream was to become an ED/trauma nurse.
Most importantly he was loved by everyone and was always ready for a good laugh and full of energy. To be cared for and loved by Miguel was a true blessing. He stood up for what he believed in and would always protect his friends or anyone in need. He truly was a beautiful person.
On July 14th, Miguel's life was taken while protecting someone else's life. He was a true hero not only in scrubs, but out of them as well.
Although we'll have to spend the rest of our lives here on earth missing you, you will forever be in our hearts.
